I have not had to manage a TF left in place, but can't imagine that it will be easy to manage. I will keep my fingers crossed that Cisco will behave and leave it in for you! Please let us know how it goes.

How wonderful that he has you to love him and care for him. I am sure his kitty heart knows how much you love him. I think that is powerful medicine. I hope he responds well to his treatment. Hugs.

Thanks everyone...he is home and looking pitiful :( But that is because he had anesthesia today and is on pain meds.

My vet has had very good success with feeding tubes and this is one of the reasons I agreed to it. I cannot just give up until I have tried everything....The FT is an esophageal one, Patti and is covered with a bandage....looks almost like a collar...Cisco is not a savannah, so is much easier to handle when like this...

I just hope this works...and I hope he looks a lot spunkier in a couple of days...right now I feel so sorry for him...

Paige we all are sending " healthy cat" hugs to Cisco and huge support for you both. I know how much it hurts when your baby is hurting, so a prayer the feeding tube is the perfect solution.
