A very big hello to all at Savannah cat chat,
I joined a while ago, and completely forgot to say hello to you all.
so sorry about that,,,,,, i went straight into you photo albums, and got carried away looking at all your really lovely pics,

i'm Brian, i live in East London, in a converted victorian warehouse, its about 450sqft with 12ft high ceiling, i've had Cheech and Anna just over a month, they were born on the 29th june, they are brother and sister, f5sbt, (not sure what the letters mean) mum was Shauna f4sbt and dad was Finn f6c.......they have produced the most amazing friendly, stripey, spotted kittens, and i feel privileged they let me chose them.
thank you for your posts, i have found them very helpful, i thought i was just getting a couple cats that would be bigger than a normal cat, i knew i was in trouble when i got them home, and started to play with them, Anna was growling at the toy bird, and Cheech climbed up my face,,,,,at that point i truly fell in love with them,,,,my apt is now a giant play area, i have a 9ft climbing tree, with another 1 on order,,, i can now handle raw meat with only 2 pairs of gloves and 1 eye open.

Brian, Cheech and Anna.

Welcome Brian, sounds like you have some wonderful kitties! SBT means these kittens are the product of three generations of Savannah x Savannah breeding, C means there are two generations of Savannah x Savannah breeding but beyond that (e.g, great grandparents) there was an outcross (another breed) used. In case you weren't aware, male Savannahs are sterile for the first several generations so in order to create the breed we needed to use other domestic cats crossed to our Savannah females until were were enough generations removed from the Serval to start seeing fertility.
