Don't I know it :) I spend all my free time lately grinding fresh chicken and playing chase or tug or fetch. She is worth it though. Mike and Sandy originally meant to keep Zahra for breeding so she was certainly much loved and it shows in what a great kitten she is. I am very happy to be her new slave and pillow

LOL. Back when I was researching whether to get an SV, one of the most often repeated statements I saw on breeder sites was something similar to "you will have to change your lifestyle if you acquire an SV, don't expect the cat to conform to yours." I remember wondering exactly what that meant. How could a cat make you change your lifestyle? Then out of the carrier walked this kitten who, with one head butt, turned my world upside down and I finally understood.

One of my neighbors wanted to meet the cats. She came in the house, looked around at the toys scattered everywhere, the 7' cat tree in the living room, the dining room chairs covered in beach towels, the cat beds covering nearly every horizontal surface and said "Isn't this a bit excessive?" Yeah, right.

Thanks :) We really wanted an African name and it means blossoming flower.

Hello all. I am the boyfriend mentioned in the first post and the giver of Zahra's name, with her human's consent, of course. Given my significant other's username I am seriously considering changing mine to "ZahrasWallet" since clearly my money no longer belongs to me. Aside from my lamentations of lost wealth, I wanted to say that while I normally do not like cats (my heart belongs to bullmastiffs), Zahra is an absolute dream, and it has been a pleasure to see how much joy she has given ZH.
