Welcome to the wonderful world of Savannahs :D Kronos has learned now if I shriek at him to go terrorize another room at least lol.... so in the middle of the night he will maybe start to play under my bed, I just make a hissing sound or say "KRONOS!!!" in a deep voice and he shoots out of the room.

Man Alisha I wish that would work, but once he knows I am awake we are screwed....haha, we whisper shhhh like he will go away, but once he knows your awake he starts throwing toys in the bed..haha, and if I lock the door he just wiggles the doorknob til its ready to shake off the hinges! I try to wear him out before bedtime, but it doesn't always work, I love when hubby elbows me and says, no you go I went last time...lol

Shyla does that craziness EVERYDAY at about 7am and about 830 at night.....Running crazy through the house bouncing off the walls, and furniture..literally......lol She's knocked pictures off the walls! Too funny, sometimes we better get out of her way, because she'll run right into us if we are in her path!!! :)

Kovu did that last night around 10:30. Glenn FINALLY got back from his mission, only four days late. Needless to say Kovu was ecstatic to see him. Running around the house, jumping on/off luggage like a mad man.

What I do to train the kittens that human sleeptime is "important"... when they are too rambunctious at 4am, I get up and shut them out of the bedroom. Yes they cry and scratch at the door and make a ruckus, but I refuse to give in. They learn that playing on the bed and waking mommy gets them banished. Even if they do this an hour before I am getting up anyway, I will do this. Even though I won't sleep for that hour, I lay in bed listening to them, LOL! They DO learn, you have to be firm... and some are more persistent than others...

Ty for advice, Zeus is still in quarantine for the next several days. My only option to banish him would be into the master bath at this point and I can guarantee you, with his very loud cry in the echo chamber my bathroom is ... No one in my house would get any sleep LOL ... I will start banishing him as soon as can, after quarantine over. =}. I have to weight the consequences and I would rather lose 20 mins of my sleep for now (to wear him down) than deal with a very grumpy teen aged daughter who didn't get any sleep (she would end up wearing me down).
