Elsa watches Born Free every time it comes on... I move a TV table for her to sit on and she loved that. Everything was going great with her watching TV and I accidentally kicked one of her balls... Then you know what happened... Between the Ball/Fetch and TV... The Ball won in the end....

Well Duhhh. What do you expect?? Elsa is an active, playful, "go get 'em" girl.
"Play .... watch TV... Which do I wanna do?"
" Guess... dad."

But she was enjoying the TV so much... You saw the pictures... Anytime born free comes on she glues herself to it... Beats me how she knows over other animal programs but she does...

Geez! How much Born Free can you watch? I mean, I know its a great movie, but... :p

If she likes to watch it... I will let her watch it 24 hours a day... I just ordered "Living Free" which is the sequel to BORN FREE featuring her three lion c-u-b-s (Jespah, Gopa, and Little Elsa), and
Elsa's Legacy: The Born Free Story (2011) which is a documentary featuring Elsa's Life... Both were less than $15, will see how she likes them...

I didn't see Living Free...didn't know they made it into a movie? Were Bill Traverse and Virginia McKenna starred in it as well?
Haven't seen Elsa's Legacy either, but I've heard of it. I think there is another documentary that features George Adamson's life...I've been meaning to try and find it. I am obsessed with him...such a tragic death. I read all of his autobiographies. This quote made me cry "Who will now care for the animals, for they cannot look after themselves? Are there young men and women who are willing to take on this charge? Who will raise their voices, when mine is carried away on the wind, to plead their case?"
