Can this cat be a savannah?

Hi everyone,
I might be adopting this cat and wanted to find out if he could a savannah. The owner claims he is an F2 from an F1 x Bengal cat. I do not know much about the subject so I wanted to ask you - the experts. Pictures below

Thanks a lot and Happy New Year!
Ezequiel

Where are you adopting this cat from? And what do you mean by adopt? If I sell one of my kittens, I am selling the kitten and the kitten buyer is buying it, not adopting it, so I don't get the whole "adopt" phrase.

If I am getting a kitten from a shelter, I consider that "adopting" a kitten...

Anyway...looks like a bengal...but the pics are not very clear.

Well, in this case "adopting" ,as was stated in my previous post, would be the right term as I would not be paying anything for this cat. I see his bengal side too..sorry for the poor pic quality..

yes, then it is the right term IMO, although many others use the term "adopt" when buying and selling kittens. If this is an F2 savannah though, did it come from a breeder originally and now the person who bought it is "giving" it away?

And does the breeder know this person is "giving" away his/her cat? usually there is a contract that an owner has with a breeder that if anything occurs and they have to give up the kitten/cat, said kitten/cat goes back to the breeder first or the breeder has first right of refusal...

I know that wording is in my contract and I would be really upset if any of my kitten buyers "gave" away any of my kittens without my knowledge or permission.

I dont think your gonna find anyone thats going to be able to confirm for you. best thing to do is to talk to the breeder that sold the cat to the original owner.

btw whats the reason why this owners is giving their cat away?

I recently acquired a 1 yr old Savannah that someone couldn't keep. I'm sure they had to have a contract, he is from a reputable breeder. Should I contact the breeder to let them know?
