I have been feeding Elsa Innova Cat & Kitten Turkey & Chicken formula which was recommended by my breeder and she really loves... Petco does not carry. The only place that I have been able to find it is Petsmart... Problem, it looks like PetsMart is going to discontinue this brand...

I have enough now stocked up (On discontinued stock, I got a great deal). What would be a good comparable of equal quality that she hopefully would not notice much different and will still give her all the required nutrients that she needs?

John, you can get it online and have it delivered for free...chewy.com is a great place to buy cat food!

I get the majority of my canned food delivered from online now... www.petfooddirect.com is what I use.. it's easier to put it on a monthly shipment and not worry about that.

I'd be inclined to try an online vendor simply because if that is what Elsa likes and does well on it, why change... that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" thing. I don't have any memory of what it is most like... it's been some years since I went on a spree of trying out various canned foods to see what my cats liked and I approved of..so can't really suggest anything equivalent..

LOL, that is just the site I was going to recommend - www.chewy.com - free delivery is for an order $49+ but that's usually pretty easy to spend.

I was looking at the shipping... Chewy is free shipping on $50 order all the time, and petfood it is only for a limited time.... Order 2 chases and I would be at $50.00, so to me that is the way to go... Did not realize that the food could be gotten online... Beginning to get worried that I was going to have to change her food, and I did not really want to do that... She is eating too good (almost too good) to change now.

Just curious, for Chewy.com, how do they ship.. UPS Ground? and roughly what is their turn around time for orders on average?

For me they use Fedex and it usually comes in 4-5 days, sometimes sooner. My only complaint has been that sometimes the boxes have been a bit flimsy and start to tear when I drag them into the house (they have been up to 50lb and large, and I am small so difficult for me to pick up to carry) but the last few shipments have all been very well packed.

Do they send you a tracking number or post it in your account for tracking?
