I posted a few months ago that I ALWAYS have a tree and Christmas decor. Here is the proof. Now mind you, I have a small heard here which includes, two F2 males, two F3 females, a giant rambunctious Maine Coon, a British Shorthair, three F7 girls and six kittens...Nary an ornament out of place (-:

Question. Did you connect a "live" wire to the tree? Do they get shocked? (I can not imagine that many SV's ignoring that tree!)

Rascaldad, you have to understand that Kristine has some of the mellowest Savannahs around... there may be something in the water down there in La Mesa, CA....

For my tree, this year I moved the location from a corner of the room to the window alcove, which allowed Baz to work out that he could jump past the Ssscat motion detectors and reach the tree. Not that he did more than bat a couple ornaments off...but it's inspired a competition between me and the cat to foil him. The space around the tree is now covered with scat mats and gifts are piled under the tree to stop him jumping there too. He has spent hours sitting and contemplating the tree from various angles the past couple days... All the others were deterred by the ssscat detectors, but there's always one troublemaker!
