Daytona Gettin' Servaly

#1
He just started the "serval grin" and pant. I guess those characteristics only start to come out at a certain stage of development. You can really see his head and body serval features coming out. He's growing up fast... 4.5 lbs.

I'm really impressed that you can leave an electrical cord strewn across the floor unprotected and it remains intact!

It seems that Daytona is a bit of a "wonderkinder." He simply doesn't have any of these behavioral issues that I've read up on. I got so lucky... As I eased him in to the living room the first week, I kept everything unplugged and watched his carefully. He shows no interest in cables, which is of course great. I can leave him around roaming the living room, and he is very good. I think that I've done a good job keeping him engaged and giving him plenty of toys and chewing alternatives.

I never had problems with kittens chewing on cables until the last few years... then it suddenly turned into a free-for-all...
