Kiticatterfly and Foxifur cat toys from Neko. He lost the plot for these things. Never seen him so amped up. Hilarious. $24 for both; that's about $2/minute for how long they lasted. Ha.

Looks like you need an OMG Wand from Hyendry.com. And the Instigator attachment is very durable. My cats favorite are the Guinea feather attachments, and they come in multiple packs.

And the trick is to not let them catch the feather toys. Otherwise you'll go through one each play session.

It took Rafiki 2 whole years to break an OMG wand versus minutes for all others. And yes, the Guinea feathers are a major hit over here along with anything made of rabbit fur. All of those toys must be put away after play because she will eat the feathers and fur. She has also enjoyed the 'moxi ballz' hand hooked balls to play fetch with.

I started making my own toys because the wands were always breaking...so I now use fly fishing lures (poppers and others), tackle, line and do it myself...I use either fishing rods or horse whips or wands from other toys I have purchased...so inexpensive and fun!!!!

Thanks for the hyendry suggestion. Some of them look pretty solid. He hasn't broken the wand yet (he's still about 4lbs.), but he went right through the toy attachments.

I hear you about not letting them get the feathered toys; but this cat is 6x's as fast as me, and, as you can see by the vid, when he wants something, he's getting it... I understand that ingesting of feathers being an issue, and I'm sure that Daytona consumed some of the "fuzz" from the foxifur. I learned my lesson with that toy and don't use feathered ones anymore. In addition to not being able to keep it away from him, he enjoys the "capture" and likes to chew on it when he gets it That noted, I've been using Petstages dog chew toys, which are durable and d. (He digs the mini-cool chew.) I just tie a knot with the old foxifur string and put it on the wand. He digs it.

In case you haven't made the association ... Savannahs are jumpers. Servals are, so it has passed down. My F2 Regulus will Jump about 7 feet straight up to "intercept" a toy mouse thrown for his "sister" Kilifi to chase. Looks like Daytona is going that same direction. :)
