How fun is it to try and change bedding or make a bed with a savannah in the house.

Amara spaz's out and actually helps by running back and fourth sliding around. She gets all the wrinkles out its hillarious.

Also fun to watch her investigate the sink drain when the dishwasher is running. What's that noise I know something is in there, just don't get me wet cause I despise baths.

I have 4 SVs. I can do nothing, not.one.single.thing without a spotted helper. They're in the microwave, oven, warming drawer, dishwasher, clothes dryer. You haven't had fun until you try to pry a 27 lb 3 foot long cat out of the front loading washing machine. He must think it's a cat wheel because he loves to make it spin. One of my F2s loved to be vacuumed and it takes forever to do one room because he keeps throwing himself down in front of darn thing hoping I'll run him over.

It's fun for awhile and then it gets tiring and frustrating because my everyday chores take 3x longer than they should. I've started to lock them in a room when I'm pressed for time.

There are a few advantages though....my F1 thinks I'm incapable of going to the toilet without help so I taught him how to flush when I'm done. He also likes to help fold sheets fresh from the dryer. He'll take one corner of the sheet and fold it over to the other but gets bored after than and walks away leaving me to finish the task.

Taking a bath? Gotta share with Juba who loves to get massaged by the jacuzzi jazuzzi jammin copy.jpg

Wanna heat up a meal? Not enough room for food with 2 buns in the oven bunsinoven copy.jpg

And you don't need a knife or Cuisinart to chop veggies when you have a Savannah 11-16-2016 bokchoy boy copy.jpg

Trying to unload the dishwasher? Atticus thinks the spray arm is a toy

Our boys love the groceries. Anything with a plastic bag needs to have teeth marks in it. Anything green and leafy is something that's specifically targeted and they try to chooch it. It's uncanny how they both get their heads through the shopping bag loops and start snipping at one another as if they are some sort of caped superhero.

The better part comes with the cucumbers, squash, and melons get unpacked. You definitely need to be quick with the cucumbers, identifying which bag they are in before entering the house. If Dino gets ahold of one it becomes a hazard to get it away from him. It's a treat food for our oldest Dino, he likes them better than any of his raw food.

He can also manage to pick up a cantaloupe. He's jumped off the counter with them in his mouth which hasn't worked really well but successful enough where he will carry them away. Watermelon is a real hoot as neither has managed to get their teeth sunk in. What they have been incredibly successful with is pushing them off the counter.

The last item is new kitty litter. They work themselves into a frenzy when a new bag comes through the door. They immediately start pawing at it as I walk to the litter box. After setting it down, in go their teeth and the paws start tearing into the 40lb bag. By the time I return with scissors to cut the bag open, they have already given me a head start. When jockeying for position so they can dig and take the first pee in the fresh litter.

What is it with doors and the fascination with whats behind them anyways, Amara on a daily basis makes her rounds threw all the cabinetry. Also tries to enter the oven, does enter the fridge luckily can't close the door while she's in there even tho the door has tried (self closing).
She also steals the grocery bags regardless of wether it's filled or not.
Stealing cantaloupe tho that's just hillarious.

2 things she does I don't find fun.
Can't handle any type of chicken while she's awake and hafta hide any evidence of the chicken. If she's awake and smells it, just about impossible to keep her from stealing some. Hmmm chicken

Second thing was door darting to the outside which I inadvertently solved, door darting free for a month now.
She managed to escape one night =(, well once she heard a bell (completely obsessed with bells or keys that jingle, btw) she came darting back in. She was covered in what looked like mud, well upon further investigation it was not mud she smelled horrible and got a bath which she does not enjoy. But hasn't darted for the door since =).

All in all all her spazy, quirky, neurotic, ocd and goofy things she does I adore and find amusing.
