This is what it looked like around here the other day when our air conditioner went out - it was 107º that day!

I call it the savannah flop. Happens around here when the temp hits 80. They fall over, quite inelegantly and with a loud kaboom. They'll flop near a toy, listlessly bat at it and wistfully watch as it rolls away, heave a huge sigh, and go belly up to ensure maximum air flow

I feel for you! It's 111 and sprinkling off an on here in the Palm Springs area. So hot and humid that it's hard to breath.

Ooo. 111 and humid. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I know 85 really isn't that hot. I came from the central valley area where it got 116 this time of year.
