Kitten Legs?

It can be, but kittens can also grow into their legs sometimes. It might be better to look at older siblings from previous litters to see how long their legs are, but even so each kitten is unique so there's no sure answer.

Thanks Patti! I know the weight of both parents, but I am having a hard time getting a response back from the breeder. We are just curious what we might expect our F3 to look like as a grown up.

His mother is 18lbs and father is approx 30lbs (chausie). I'm having a hard time getting pics from previous litters, which I've been asking for awhile.

Like you said, every kitten is different! Statistically, is it often that a kitten will grow up being smaller than both parents? Or larger?

I'm just full of questions. Sorry

I am not aware of any statics, just my own experience, which is you can't really count on parent sizes to judge kitten sizes. Even within a litter I have had huge to tiny kittens from average sized parents.

It often also depends on being male or female too... often I've found the girls in a litter to be half the size of the males when all grown up. And sons being larger than their mama...although when mama is large then I've had the son turn out smaller too. As Patti says, I don't think there IS a rule for this...
