Omega Paw And Roll

I had one years ago. The issue I had at the time was I lived in a tiny apartment and there wasn't much space to maneuver the roll.

In comparison, I also had the Litter Robot, which is the same idea only automated (and it rolls on its own platform so less space issues, although it's big which is a space issue in and of itself). I thought it worked fairly well but found that it would kick a lot of dust into the room it was in plus surrounding rooms, so litter type was absolutely critical. I had to take it apart and clean it every 6 months or so, the Omega Paw is probably easier to clean in that respect.

I think I've had *almost* every box on the market...you might check out litterbox-central.com. http://www.litterbox-central.com/litter-box/omega-paw-roll-n-clean/

The box that I thought worked best (human acceptance) and had the best cat acceptance (aside from Litter Robot) was the Scoop Free:

Same here, Cecilia! I think I will skip the gimmicks and just keep doing what I am doing. I just like to hear the experiences of others ;)

Your link goes to Ferret harnesses btw ;)

I think the link is fixed...ultimately the big boxes seem to work the best for the cats, others work better for us but then there's cat acceptance factor, but luckily most of these give a 30 to 90 day guarantee so you could always try them out.

Sadly, poo and pee is icky, whether human or feline. Cat litter is also pretty icky, even without the poo and pee factor, but a necessary evil to co-habitate with felines.

Thanks for fixing the link...looks good but I'm with you...all my cats love the huge 32 gal rubbermaid bin I use...oh and I slice an air tube hose down the middle and line the door opening with it...or I just sand it down to remove the rough edges.

Awesome. Would love to see a pic if you ever get the chance, always looking for new projects!
