Savannah Kitten gets too aggressive with my older cat. Need help!

Sorry for long message!
We have a 8month female f5 savannah (Mia) and a 9yr old domestic tuxedo beautiful boy (Bob). Both been neutered. Savannah done about a month ago.
Bob is my partners cat, When we moved in together we decided to get a kitten to bring him out of his shell. My partner wanted a savannah. (I was against the idea).
They have been together for 6 months now but they still have to be separated, We have 2 screens to split the house in half. They interact with eachother lovely through the screens, Eat together no problem. With supervised meets and play time, they play together and even wrestle but it always ends the same way!
The kitten Mia being too aggressive and biting his neck and not letting go. Bob the older cat screams, howls, hiss every noise imagineable and she doesn't let go until I pull her off.
He is 7kg and her being half his size. They have a break and back to it, All well for 5/10 mins until she goes for him again. Sometimes she can be distracted with toy/treats but when she gets this look in her eyes there's no stopping her!
It's getting too much and is affecting our relationship with me taking the side of the kitten and her getting angry cos her old boy is being hurt. (Never any blood/damage just a mouth full of fur occasionally)

What can we do, Feels like there's nothing we haven't tried!
I hope someone has an idea for me because I cannot give her up she is my world now!

This is a tough one. You can try distraction and wearing her out with play (wand toys, chasing balls, etc.) but that will only last so long. You can try Feliway diffusers - although I've personally never found them to be too helpful, others have. There is a book called Cat vs. Cat that might have some helpful suggestions. Some folk here have found that Prozac had been helpful to "tame" an aggressive cat. In the end, if nothing else works you may need to be resigned to to keeping them separated long term.

Thank you yes it's such a difficult situation. I never think the feliway diffusers help but I always end up buying them just in case.
I am hoping with time, giving the neutering time and her growing up it will get better? Or am I just fooling myself

It's hard to say. Kittens can be overly rambunctious and have difficulty understanding when they've crossed a line. Time may help, but every kitty is different so difficult to say...
