Scam?!?! In MY neck of the woods?!?!?

Saw this on Craigslist and it just "shouts" scam... Especially since Servals are illegal. Thoughts? Should I email them and see "what's up"? They're "messin around in my 'hood", if I may...

Also, Do any of you "advertise" on Craigslist or is that considered a "faux paux" since CL only allows an "adoption fee"?

As for CL, I'm sure many people advertise there, but I will not be doing that.

I think there is a negative perspective about advertising on CL, and don't think many of the more reputable breeders do it.

That's kinda my feeling too... CL just seems "dirty"... if that makes sense...

In fact many of the pets on there, if offered for free or very cheap, end up as bait for fighting or as specimens for college students. Not to mention you have to field out all the lookie loos and trolls.

I've used CL for pure rescues- like the Christmas kitties we took in from off the street (babies out in pouring freezing cold rain). Otherwise, I find it very distasteful for breeders to advertise there. There is free advertising on the internet for breeders- leave CL for rescues/pets needing to be rehomed. And yeah, Lori is right- you really really have to vet anyone more then normal when it comes to CL

I do advertise occasionally on Hoobly and Kijiji (now Ebay Classifieds).
