Securing cabinets

I still have a couple weeks before my Savannahs arrive and a month of safe-room only time before they get introduced to the rest of the house. During that time I want to work on 'proofing' the cabinets.

My cabinets do not have handles and I am unfamiliar with child safe locks.

Can anyone offer suggestions for how to reduce the accessability of my cabinets?

I guess I have been fortunate. All three of them stay out of the cabinets.

Hmmmm, maybe our cats aren't related or Chongo was trained by the other residents.

I use something like this, purchased from Lowes. They work great!

My F3 opens the interior doors of the house and goes in other rooms....we have levers, but never in the kitchen cabinets!

Good responses! I especially like the pictures for letting me see what is being discussed. Very helpful.

Thanks to all!

Now I need to figure out how to keep them from opening my panty door which is a bi-fold and easy as can be to open. I may need to find a different location to use as the pantry and just store stuff in there they would not find entertaining or enticing.

Mine (F1-F5) don't tend to open cabinets although the cabinet doors are fairly heavy so maybe that dissuades them. I have bifold doors in one bathroom that Baz likes to open up so I have a bungee cord between the two handles that holds them and prevents him from causing trouble.
