Serval found at Quebec city

I found this news article so much calmer and more sensible than if that Serval had been found in the backyard somewhere in the US. No hyping of the cat as wild and dangerous... and the guy was not afraid of it but just tried to get closer for pictures?

I do hope that the Serval is safe... when captured I imagine it cannot go back to any owner (and most illegal owners would not step forward in any case) :-(

I agree that the tone of this was more positive than anything we have seen in the US. Even the expert, when asked if it was dangerous, merely stated that it "could" if it was frightened or provoked and went on to mention how they can be domesticated. Quite a different story than the Savannah that was killed in Detroit last year.
