Wow stunning cats and I'm glad they are getting along. Definitely intrigued by the roadmap of how Themba came to be and who the parents were.

I only know his mom.
I think his mom is not an easy savannah.

I didn't got the family papers yet when i picked him up.
I just decided the name a few days before he was ready to go.
So by now the breeder must have them, I better contact her before i forget :)

Only thing that worries me are doors.

He's such a fast & sneaky guy.
When i'm going to open a door, i know he's already waiting on the other side to slip in.
I put my food ready, open the door and try to hold him.
Most of the time he's just too fast and gets in.

When he starts doing that with the door to go outside the house, i'm in big trouble.

Get a squirt bottle and fill it with 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water. Squirt him with a sharp stream of water when he charges the door (keep away from his eyes as the vinegar will really sting). Start squirting the minute you open the door. Sometimes just water and no vinegar will do the trick.

Thank you for this tip..my brothers cat now enjoys being squirt with water at this point. The vinegar should hopefully do the trick.

Themba looks absolutely amazing and will be a huge boy. It is also great that they get a long so well! Hopefully they continue to become even closer.
