Hi all,

Help needed. My cat is suffering from the third eyelid showing, anyone have same experience? I’m taking him to the vet, but there’s no result yet. Really worried.

Does anyone know what happen to him?

Wow. Beautiful cat. For sure take to the vet as soon as you can. It is really hard to say what is going on. It could be an injury to the eye, something in the eye,an intestinal parasite or an upper respiratory infection. It looks like it is in both eyes so probably not something in the eye.

Took to VCA this afternoon, no diagnosis, this is called “Haws Syndrome”, the doctor gave some anti-biotic medicine. I’m making an appointment for a speciality, but it might be too late......the earliest available spot is Sep 23rd. Worried about it.

What other symptoms does your cats have?
Eating normally?
Toileting normally?
Losing any weight?
Any runny nose or sneezing?
Any discharge from the eyes?
Sleeping more than usual?

Have they been wormed recently? Or have you have a fecal test done?
What tests did the vet do?

Today being the 19th and that is not far from the apointment you were showing in the last post.
Any change or any other clinic you could get him into?

How are you both holding up?
