Treasure Trove

Does your sv have a favorite hiding place for all their ill begotten treasure. And what is the funniest thing you have found there?

Around my house it's gotten to the point of if you can't find it, you look under my bed because Zeus probably absconded it. The funniest thing we found there so far was my son's glasses. I could only guess that Zeus wanted to do a little late night reading, prolly the cat in the hat or something similar !!

Years ago I had an F2 male named Rumsfeld who ate only raw drumsticks. His treasure trove for the bones, unbeknownst to me was under our persian carpets in the dining room. One day I saw something under the rug and ewwwwww there was disgusting and decaying chicken legs. I thought he had been eating the bones...)-: Now they do not tend to hide things as much and I have switched to ground meat for raw, thus eliminating the chicken leg bone issue! One of my stud cats likes to place his toys in his litter box which I find weird. But aside from that, they do not hide things much.

Keeba puts all the toys in the middle of their tent tube toy. He likes to run through it a grab them. he's not really on that take things, but our deaf boy likes to steal our coffee scooper off the counter and then I will find it in the tube.

Under the few throw rugs I have scattered around the house. They leave just enough of a hump of toys to cause their homo sapiens to trip and flail around wildly esp. when we are too stupid to turn a light on at night.

I used to have a DSH that stored her treasures under the sofa. She was always stealing sticks of gum and used q-tips and piling them under there. Her favorite thing though was to catch house flies, tear off one wing, stash them under the couch and bring them out to play. Round 'n round those poor flies went.

That's hilarious Deborah! I had a chausie that would hide toys, but none of the savannahs do. They just leave them lying all over the house for me to trip over.
