For all those interested, I wanted to post an update on Vienna! She just turned 14 weeks old and has been home about three weeks. I think she's gotten bigger, but it's hard to tell!
She's such a sweetheart, and snuggles with me at night now. Before, when she was quarantined, she was a CRAZY kitty, and I was beginning to wonder what I'd gotten myself into. However, the two weeks passed, and she immediately took control of the house, even bossing around our Maine Coon, who's four times her size.
Our other cat, Sylvia, has been successful in keeping her distance from Vienna, mostly because of her hissing and ability to out-jump Vienna (for now). But they're all getting along very well, for how short of a time it's been. Now that she's able to run around in the house during the day, Vienna has calmed down with the destructive behaviors (that used to disrupt my sleep, as she was quarantined in my bedroom), but not with the energy.
I love her more and more each day, and she bonds with me more all the time. She wags her tail like a dog when I come home, and is always so happy to see me. I'll post a few updated pictures, and maybe a video! (And yes, she's pooping normally now, haha!)
Sorry for the bad/blurry quality. They're with my dad's point-and-shoot. I'm still saving for a nice Canon DSLR, but buying Vienna took a big chunk out of my savings! Vienna had fun trying to bite the camera hand strap while I took the pictures! I edited the last one because I'm a Photoshop junkie.
