Which one will it be..... Choosing the cat tree

Ok I'm stuck I have $82 on a Walmart gift card from returning the defective cat tree and a tree that turned out to be too small. I have two I am stumped at. I'll take a vote. Opinions? Favorites?

Also any other recommendations or sharing of your own cat tree and experience is appreciated. =] I hope this gets here soon pooty and Loki are having way too much fun scratching on my box spring at the moment ::eye roll::

I also prefer the second one, it also looks like it has a wider foot print so less likely to topple over.

I like them both I do like the hideaway but have heard some issues with stability with larger cats. Pooty is 14lbs of chub and Loki finally started putting some weight back on since his worming he's back at 14.5lbs . I believe Loki could fit but pooty whom loves hiding may not. =\ also not sure how I could make it more sturdy. Pooty is the one who knocked the other one over from jumping off the top. Not sure what to do. I'll keep lookin then.

Have you considered one from Pet Tree Houses? They are a sponsor of these forums and give a discount if you put in the code shown in their ads on the forums. I'm not sure of your budget, just pointing to an option that has been tested to handle Savannah cats.

Once I get clear of my pending expenses for the year I'll be saving up to get one for my beasts.

Never heard of them but it's worth a look. At the moment I'm looking for one I can use my store credits to get. And for Christmas would like to go all out in getting them a larger one for the livingroom. So if not now perhaps Christmas. Those little guys are getting spoiled lol

I like the multiple layers, and the condo looks bigger, but with that small footprint I would worry it would get knocked over - if you got this one I would be sure to anchor it to the wall somehow.

Starting to think an anchor is going to be necessary no matter which route I go lol. I know if I go shorter the little gremlins won't use it. I've seem Loki try with the shorter one we have seem to sigh and go for the cardboard one I made originally. Then sigh again and go for the boxspring. I appreciate him trying to avoid it u can't get mad at him. But this is so much trial and error lol. What do you use? What does it look like?

The last one only has a footprint of 17" x 17" and Pooty would probably topple it fairly easily. Does anyone know what Kitty Mansion uses for building material under the fabric and sisal rope?
