Yuki is having a rough week

I've taken her to the vets each of the past two days. I'm trying to arrest her weight loss, she's down to the weight she was at arrival. She also has been lethargic and weak. I finally identified the lethargic/weak cause.

She injured her left leg. I didn't notice problem right away, but a few days ago she took a bad spill (2 foot drop) she was not expecting. Whatever the specific injury is has not yet been identified so I may be taking her back again tonight. The vet could not find any signs of breaks, fractures, or find a tender spot on her leg or foot.

At least her spirits are still ok and while she doesn't run or jump currently, she appears otherwise well.

The vet will be calling me back about this and her bloodwork shortly.

And you got her as kitten? You mention she is down to the weight she was when she arrived...paranoid me was worried about dry FIP but she's not really the age for that to be such a risk. The unexpected spill with lethargy and weight loss made me worry the spill was a neurological thing.

Hope the bloodwork points to something...

Some of the results came back, but not all. Everything is normal except a very slight white cell elevation. The fall she took was a complete surprise to Yuki. She lept up thinking she was going to land on a stable box flap and as the saying goes, went ass-over-tin-cups.

I got her, along with Yeti, in July 2013. She is now 4 and he is 1.
