I know if a cat can smell urine, it’ll continue to urinate in the same place. I’m trying to help out my neighbor. thank you

I use Anti-Icky-Poo which you can purchase online. Make sure your neighbor completely soaks the item with urine, if it's a rug they include an injector so that you can get the product deep into the carpeting.

Have had great success using a product available here in UK called RSPCA Weeaway, have also used Anti-Icky-Poo and it's really good, expensive here but worth it.

I found that if it's a blanket or clothing that Rug Doctor pet stain remover for carpet cleaners works well in the washing machine.
I use hot water and one cup full of the cleaner. I have also found that the cats no longer go to that item. I have even used a UV light
to check for the Tell-Tail glow in the dark and found it to be clean.

Is this the best thing to use. Likely not but it does seem to work for me.
