The only thing filled in on the Breeder Slip is "Skyhawk" on the the 2 lines, so I am assuming Zuri's paperwork hasn't been completed. I know Skyhawk was the cattery was born at. Am I correct?

I see I have choices on how far back to go on pedigree. . If he is F2, wouldn't it only be 3 generations back to get his full pedigree? Not that it matters. I haven't been able to find pictures of his "family." I'm just curious what the cats in his background look like is the only reason I want to have the names.

Yes, he was born at Skyhawk cattery in California...Connie Cutbirth is his breeder but would not take him back. He would only need a three gen pediogree...so you can contact TICA, if you want...

That's what I thought. Skyhawk website has been shut down. She as a new cattery now but no pics. I looked hoping to see a picture of his parents. I thought of maybe sending an email asking if she had a picture.

For selfish reasons, I'm glad she didn't want him back!

Depending on what gen his Dad was, you might still want the 5 gen pedigree so you get more of his side?

A pedigree will also tell you about the non-Savannah cats in his pedigree which may well go back five generations, but may not if DSH's were used.

One more comment in favor of a 5 generation pedigree, it can help you determine the level of backcrossing performed which affects genetic percentages and more insight what other bloodlines/catteries might be intertwined. Dealing with foundation cats, it's especially important for breeders to know who might be related and maintain genetic diversity.
