Consistently tall

I may have asked this question before, I can’t remember. Of the two, which breed is the most consistently tall, a savannah or a chausie. From what I understand they’re both similar in personality and size.
I know savannah size can vary greatly from cat to cat and wondered if it was the same with Chausies.

Savannahs are taller and Chausies are usually "rounder". Like Savannahs, a Chausies size can vary greatly from cat to cat.
Having been owned by several Savannhs and a Chausie I find the Chausie a bit more relaxed, less intense and mellow than Savannahs.

I think both breeds are newly developed ones hence there is not the consistency of some more established breeds. Looking at the exotic cats involved, the Serval seems leggier but I think that they are about the same weight range?

The standards for both the Chausie and Savannah call for long legs, although while the Chausie standard simply says 'long' the Savannah standard says 'longer than average' - not sure how one would compare those two descriptions...

As far as appearance goes, people always overestimate the weight of my Savannahs and underestimate the weight of my Chausie.

Thanks! That helps a lot!
I got lucky with Archer on size, he’s a pretty big boy for an F3. I’m trying to decide which to get for my 7 year old daughter.
I’ve never seen a chausie in person. Are they as majestic and exotic looking as the savannah, or are they similar in appearance to an abyssinian? I sometimes just sit in awe of how beautiful Archer is. The way he walks, the shape of his body, such an amazing breed. Not to mention how affectionate he is, to me anyway lol. I’ve never had an animal that loves me as much as he does.
I’m leaning more towards another savannah, but wanted to know your thoughts before I decide.

In my opinion the Chuasie is not as exotic looking as a Savannah. I think the Jungle Cat that Chausies came from are not as exotic looking as a Serval. I dont think he looks like an Abyssian becuase he has a different body type and pattern.
My Chausie is more affectionate than my Savannahs but i do not know if it is the breed or my particular cat. He is an F2 and besides his ears and some of his markings I would not describe him as exotic looking. He is awesome though and HUGE. I would recommend google image search Chausies and you could get a good idea of a variety of them.

I am not sure of the Savannah Cat Chats policy about recommending a breeder but if you decide on a Chausie, I have a recommendation.
