Crazy for coffee??

Does anyone else’s Savannah go crazy round the coffee machine?? Milo is desperate to lick clean the drip tray and has tried to snatch the lid of a coffee jar clean out of my hands. I’m still coming to terms with how different he is to Kai and it’s helpful to read everyone else’s experiences!

I have to drink my coffee locked in a room or a closet. LOL. Two of mine go crazy over the aroma. Can't even grind fresh beans without locking the cats away. I drink decaffeinated and don't have to worry about caffeine poisoning in the cats. I just have to worry about cleaning up their messes when they get ahold of my cup or fresh grounds. All 4 of mine are also crazy about the fish oil used in some Thai dishes which makes take-out a challenge. Seems as though either the cats or us humans spend a lot of time locked up tri big grin:

Bear loves coffee, too. Luckily, he likes his breakfast more - I've learned not to linger over my coffee or he will be there trying to get his face or paws into the cup. He also has a crazy hankering for anything containing tomatoes, and salad.

Milo likes the smell of cleaning products too so I have to shut him out of the kitchen/bathroom when I’m cleaning . I’m kinda glad to hear it’s not just him tho!

Ha ha he sounds as crazy as Milo. Fortunately he’s never tried to drink from my coffee cup, it’s just the machine he likes so coffee made quickly and machine washed clean of drips and spills. However if I pour a glass of water that’s way more interesting than any of his bowls that are laying around and his head is straight in there!! Nice to meet you btw! How old are Ninja and Bear and do you know if they calm any as they get older ??

Nice to "meet" you too! The boys are a little over 10 months and are really only calm while in a growth spurt - then they sleep a lot. Otherwise they are racing around after each other and me pretty much all day. I'm hoping they keep the high energy level, never had such interactive kitties, and love it! Two is definitely not enough!

So Milo is nearly 11 months and Kai is 14 months now! They sound so similar to Ninja and Bear! Even tho they are different breeds they love each other so much. They play endlessly and tear around like maniacs most of the time too. Milo is more adventurous in his play and has no fear whereas Kai thinks things through. Milo has a favourite mouse that he likes to throw around but if he thinks Kai is interested in it he growls and hisses like a snake. Kai has no interest but just likes the show and the the tease. It’s hilarious ..... until Milo tries to use my legs to hide behind that is!! I love them to pieces, just a shame I have to go to work!!

It's like that here, too. Ninja is the savage lug who just charges in, Bear waits until he knows he can make the "kill". Their favorite toys and games keep changing, it's always fun finding new ways to keep them entertained. ;)
