His Name is Liebchen from the old Roald Dahl movie "The Witches" I always thought the name was funny (or the way she called her cat was anyhow) when I was a kid, so When I got my cat the first thing that came to my mind was the witches voice yelling "COME HERE LIEBCHEN!" and it stuck. Plus it means something along the lines of "Little Love" in German so thats how he was named. Shere Khan (from the jungle book) is his middle name because well... dont all cats have one lol.
