Does anyone let their Savannah go outside?

First let me say I do agree with the other comments. My cat Remi , is maybe an exception, or it is the hours and hours of training with a leash that got her to where she is today. I work out in the yard a lot and she is right there within 10 yards with me always along with Zoe, her big sister Pomeranian who guards her like nothing else. Remi probably obeys commands better than most dogs. Even though she is right with me outside, there is always a chance of a big stray coming into the yard, a groundhog or whatever, I am still taking a chance with her. But again, this was after over two years harness and leash training. Not just walks but training. Not too many people are willing or even able to devote that much time into it. I would strongly suggest leash and harness. You can give them a little more freedom by lengthening the leash. That way you’re still in control. Don’t forget about the fleas and ticks. Good luck

We have been leash training and he’s pretty good now altho he gets distracted easily! He found a toad in the garden this morning - the toad stayed safe but it kept him busy for ages lol!

Yes... But only with her Walking Jack and Leash.... She does ok at Home, my Mom's and Gas Stations... But she hates Rest Stops.

Never let Loki outside as I can't keep him in a harness. Tried multiple times indoors and he escapes from them. Scat mats no longer deter him from opening inside doors...

I read this thread awhile back and have been meaning to order one for Ninja - he got out of the others I tried. There's a link to a harness made for Savannahs in the second or third post. ;)
Edit - dang it, the link didnt post! See below...
