Fitz went to the vet!

I love the name Fitz! He seems to have done okay during the vet visit - the unknown is always scary so I think he did remarkably well all things considered. Not sure I would have let the vet take him in the back room though - what was the purpose of that?

They had to to weigh him and then when they tried to do the fecal he squirmed and ran away so they took him back so they could have another tech help hold him. That way I didn't have to and I could remain the good guy lol. Luckily the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything. The techs kept saying "you are such a pretty kitty" next time I'm going to ask if they can just bring an extra tech in the room though.

I know :/ it was killing me! Then the tech said "we need to take him in back" Shane immediately grabbed my hand because I was about to object. But we figured it happening mostly away from us would keep the blame off of us!

Shane is correct there, it does mean Fitz won't associate any needle jabs with you when you aren't there...you are the ones that rescued him and took him away from the "bad" place.

It's also less traumatic for the owners to see their kitten restrained for their own safety. You don't want them moving when the needle goes in so usually this means the kitten has to be held much tighter than you usually as a pet owner would hold them.

Definitely Bridgette! I've worked for a vet, it was short lived lol, and I can't hold my own the proper way cause they're my little babies!
