The problem is...Titles are usually posted by somebody who is against Serval as pets not by Serval owner who is warning people. I am like on all Serval groups and nobody there complains. I even thought for a moment that they are hiding stuff...but i dont see that much of a difference between Serval and Dogs or other animals when they are aging, bored, stressed or whatever.

Do Serval destroys homes more than a dog is doing it? Because i have friends around me with all kind of wild/primitive domestic dogs and i dont see them complaining. My only concerns are spraying even if neutered and biting humans. I can cope with any loss....considering a i have daughter who broke more stuff than serval will do. I

I plan to spend 2h-2h30m with him daily outside on garden i have in front of the house (shared garden) or go to parks in the evening or even consume his energy in a huge closed playground i have behind my house.

Yes, i have read the pdf and its nothing that i havent read before. I watch a 4y old serval on Instagram and i honestly think that boy is acting normal.

i dont have a serval but i would expect the serval to do more damage then the dog if those dogs could jump 10 feet high then maybe they would be equal but a serval can get places those dogs cant

i cant imagine blinds or stuff covering the windows lasting very long

Ah and btw...last night i was playing with my little guy CHeesecake, 2y old British Short hair....i was playing very friendly...until he wrapped himself around my hand and started to chew it while his claws ( i forgot to cut em recently) where in my fingers...

Did you know that a cat cannot be fully domesticated? If placed back into the wild, your persian, miss prissy, can still survive on her own. So whats up with the hate towards serval ?

There is no hate toward the serval...you are taking what has been said out of context...I wish you well in your endeavor...
