Go Cat Wheel vs. The Cat Wheel

Has anyone tried a treadmill? I'm leaning that way rather than a cat wheel.

Deb- since Atticus is such a big boy ;) is the 48" wheel big enough or would you need to get a 60" wheel? Indeed a treadmill might be better for yours. I'm interested in getting a wheel but haven't a place for a 60" wheel. Although Kinaya will never be as big as Atticus she is a pretty big girl. Do you or anyone know if there's a way to measure her to tell what size wheel she would need?

I don't know how but I assume the people who manufacture the wheels would know a way. I don't want a 60" wheel and that's what the brat would need. That's why I was considering the treadmill. According to the website, it says I'd need one for large breed dogs -- $1900+. Yikes! I'll definitely consult with the seller prior to a purchase for advice on size because I'd rather not pay that much money. Maybe I should try to shrink the cat:uh oh:

Can other Go Cat Wheel owners please let me know if this is the normal sound for this cat wheel? Also it does wobble a bit, and this girl is only 8 lbs. It is worse with the bigger cats. This is our second one, they had to resend several track pieces that were damaged upon shipping. A couple on this one were also slightly damaged so I'm trying to figure out if it is normal or if I should get more replacements. (Sorry there is some background noise too!)

Hi DumaLove!

That is definitely not how the wheel should sound. I've sent you an email regarding what I believe to be the source of both the strange noise and the excessive wobble. It also saddens me to hear that the second wheel we sent you arrived damaged as well. Hopefully we can sort this out so that you and your cats can enjoy your GoCatWheel ASAP.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
