Rafiki's brother was a mel and it took everything I had not to bring him home too! He was just so stinking cute.

Hey Guys and Gals,

Just recently got my first Savannah. I got my Savannah from a local breeder here in Socal and couldn't be happier. I've had cat's all my life and have always wanted a savannah and finally was able to afford one. He is an all black f4 with some grey but not much. Hopefully more of his Grey will come out but it's highly unlikely. I've been trying to find other people with a Black Sv, but it doesn't seem like black Sv are very common. The Breeder has been very informative and helpful but if anyone has any more tips and tricks to raising a sv, your input is welcomed!

Thanks people! Now on to some pics.

He is a beautiful cat. I also recently got my first SV and all I can say at the moment is I probably should have done it while still in my 30s, I can't keep up as well in my 50's.

Nonsense :) I am in my mid-50's and can keep up with several Savannahs just fine! I believe they keep me young at heart, in shape and on my toes...sort of like my grandkids do ;)

Welcome Rev! Your little guy is adorable! I have a couple of black Savannahs myself and just love them. You will find this forum a wealth of information about raising Savannahs, but if you have any specific questions please feel free to ask away!
