I'm from NW Washington State. I adopted an F3 male (ka-ching) 13 months ago a beautiful, handsome golden boy. Unfortunately he bonded first with my adult daughter, so I get sloppy seconds, but he's a treat anyway. He is neutered, and has become very people shy, and like to go for walks where it's quiet. If he even sees people, he crouches down, even from a distance.
He doesn't talk much at all, except when #1 comes home or leaves, or dinner is late, and he doesn't seem interested in water that much.
I'm hoping to get him a playmate later this year, (well, I want another one) an F5 or 6, and I'm wondering whether it would be better to have a male or female. Our old fat domestic cat and Boomer (F3) don't mix. The older cat never wanted to play, and now Boomer is showing his dominant side, not extreme though, just "I'M the boss here!".
