I am feeding Orijen Dry Cat & Kitten food. I switched to it based on recommendations on this site.

There are several high quality dry foods available. My recommendation would be to look for a food whose first several ingredients are protein sources, and has no fillings such as grain or potato. Orijen is a great option as mentioned above.

Just a note, with our boy Dooley's liver issues and the need to reduce his protein intake, white potatoes were the first choice of Dr Lisa Pierson to get his protein percentage down to an acceptable level. So while I concur that carbs shouldn't be much if any of a cats diet, grains are a far bigger issue than potatoes.
