Hi everyone my name is David and after the passing of my Bengal (Nermal) last year and 6 months earlier our rescue (Kitty Kat). I was for the first time in my life without a furry kid running around till a friend of the family brought over a kitten they found in a storm drain beginning of november, she weighed 6.5 oz's her name is Squeakerz.
I've never just had 1 furry kid running around so after we got Squeakerz in good health I knew I had to get her a friend. So now I'm owned by a rescue and a savannah named Amara.
Amara was born Aug 19th 2017, she is a F3 and a total spaz and adores her squeaky lil sister.
Her bad habits include sucking on the tip of her tail, she just stated that 1 about a month ago when she lost her bottom teeth hopping she grows out of that. She really enjoys eating plasting still trying figure out where she finds the plastic. Loves to steal grocery bags even before the groceries are emptied out lol. She also loves to see what's behind every door, including entering the fridge and freezer and the hot oven doh, luckily she hasn't made it in there as I was aware she was watching to go in.
Other then that she is well behaved, her days are mostly spent playing with her lil sis , playing fetch and learning to walk on a leash. After all the excitement and it's bed time she doesn't lay down next to me she literally falls over next to me and doesn't get up till I do.
Squeakerz we estimate was born Oct 1st 2017 she is also a spaz and loves her big sis. (She's now 5.5 lbs)
Her bad habits include climbing window screens and teaching her big sis to do so. Amara doesn't seem to enjoy screen climbing like Squeakerz does, luckily.
Other then that she is well behaved, her days are mostly spent playing with her big sis. She loves to ambush attack guests to say hello. She loves to wait till her big sis is asleep and then sneak attack her for sometimes 20 min of pouncing before Amara says enough. She is also learning to walk on a leash.
Squeakerz got her name from squeaking, I've heard her meow once but most of the times it's just squeaks. From what I'm told friends of the family looked around on and off for well over 24 hours trying to find her while she was screaming in the storm drain before they located her. Sometimes I wonder if she doesn't meow cause she messed up her voice box, but idc I love her squeakyness.
That's my girls, I've really enjoyed reading all your experiences and stories here on the forum look forward to reading more.
