Hi all
Has anyone used or are using the litter made from grass seed? I want to get my cats away from the Feline Pine and I don’t want to use a clay litter.

Do you mean the Swheat Scoop stuff? If so, I know one person who uses it, but her cat hates it. (She doesn't believe me when I tell her the cat will use the box if she switches to something else LOL)

Your kitties will let you know what they like, and what they don't. Whatever you switch out with, mix it with the pine pellets at first to increase the chances of acceptance.

I am attaching a picture....this is the first time I have ever seen this stuff. I had a Kebi on the clay stuff and you guessed it, Akila tried eating it, so they are both now on the Feline Pine and I don’t care for it.

I've never heard of it either but start by mixing in a bit with the regular litter then gradually increase the amount of the new while decreasing the amount of the old over a period of a few weeks, you can move quicker if they seem to readily accept it. Let us know what you think once you've completely transitioned over - it says ultra clumping, I'm curious to hear your evaluation of that!

I have used that brand of it. It clumps VERY well, however it is very light and also static charged. So it actually stuck to the kitty as they came out of the box. And it got EVERYWHERE!! Hated it for that. We went back to Worlds Best, which is corn based. Clumps well and stays in the litter box much better.
