No, have not tried play session....could these be "play with me" cries?

No, he just scratches his claws on 4-5 spots in the house. I think he does it to get a rise out of me, honestly. I used to jump and yell "no!" and he would run away....like it was a game.

You should try the really vigorous play before you go to your office, it may well work. He'll be tuckered out and probably happy to just loll about watching you ....

And yes, maybe you have trained him with the scratching... oops!

You don't have to whine for cake Cary, no whining required :)
Although from NJ to AZ I think cookies would hold up better :)
