Registering the kittens is completely up to the breeder, just as with any generation. F1s are like any other generation - their phenotype (looks) is influenced by both parents. So while F1s will always have a 'servally' look to them, they will also display features from their other parent, whether it be Savannah, or Maine Coon, or Bengal, or other breed...
