New Kitten Feeding Question .....

I have a 12 week old F7 SBT coming tomorrow that we just adopted on Monday night. On the breeder's page it talks about evo. I assumed I'd be feeding him that and would slowly transition to a raw diet.

Yesterday when I asked her exactly which evo she uses, she told me she needs to update her webpage and that all her cats eat a raw homemade chicken diet now. She sent me the recipe, but I'll never be able to get the meat grinder and all the supplements before he arrives tomorrow.

She told me I can just feed him Rad Cat, which quite a few places sell here in Orlando. My question is, would it cause him a problem to abruptly switch from her raw recipe to the Rad Cat raw recipe??? Or is feeding raw different and it won't cause a digestive problem to switch from her recipe to the Rad Cat recipe without a transition period?

RadCat is very similar to her raw recipe. So there is no problem switching him right over.
Congrats on your new boy!!

My breeder gave me a package of homemade raw to last a week. I was feeding my other kitten Darwin raw at the time and had no difficulties switching my new kitten to the new raw food. Can you ask them for a package to go?

He's coming to Orlando Florida from Syracuse New York on Delta and she said they wouldn't allow her to send it
