Hello everyone!

This is my first time really ever participating in a forum at all, but I wanted to find a strong community to bounce ideas off of and to share the love and advice for Savannahs!

After about a year of research, I got my first Savannah, Keljin, back in November 2011. Only weeks before that, my sister Alisha (Kronos, who also joined the forums just the other day) had gotten hers from another breeder too only weeks apart. It has been fun raising our troublemakers together, and talking about our struggles and joys of having kittens of the same age. She is really an avid forum goer, and really suggested that I get into it :)

I fell in love with Keljin because he was the runt of the litter who was told he would not live.. but he did! I wanted him to be mine and fell in love with him right away with how cute and tiny he was. No one wanted him because of how unhealthy he was, but he had the most remarkable bold spots out of his litter. He is still far behind in growth, but he is full of energy and loves playing with his ferret sister, Winry!

Welcome Bre, I am glad to finally have dragged you into the forum world lol. I wanted to add that Keljin is now gaining weight and is a healthy boy. The breeders did not let Keljin go home until the vets were sure he was going to survive and he was stable enough to go home.

Keljin is now the prettiest of all his litter mates, with the inkiest markings!

Welcome Breanna! Seems like you love the underdog :D I tend to be that way too-how can you not fall in love with the biggest fighter in the litter? Congrats on your baby and welcome to Savannahcatchat.com!
