Registration Papers

Hi everyone,

I recently got the papers for my little Callie and Koda, and I am wanting to register them in my name or at least transfer the ownership to me. I bought them as pets, not intending to show or breed them. I am on the TICA website, and it seems like there are a thousand forms to fill out, so I'm not sure which one I need. Like I said, I don't want to show or breed them, I just want to have them in my name, and not the breeders. From what I can see, I either need the Household pet form, or the individual registration form. The kittens were already registered with the breeder, and I have the breeder slip. Any advice would be appreciated! :)

The breeder slip is all you need to send in. (Well that and some $$). If the litter was registered online then you can complete it that way as well. There should be a place for 2 name choices (in case the first choice is already taken) and your contact information. And the address to send it to is at the bottom of the form.

Awesome. Thank you! :D I went online to do it, and there was an error message saying that they both had already been registered with TICA. So I contacted the breeder, and she filled out and signed the Transfer paperwork, and I already picked it up today! So tomorrow, I'm going to send in the forms with my info and their names and hopefully there are no problems!

I'm glad you were able to resolve that so quickly! Sounds like your breeder is on top of things (y)
