Used to go to an Ethiopian Restaurant in NYC as it was across the street from one of the hospitals I worked in... I had not even one glass of honey wine and could barely stand...I think it was something like 20% alcohol...I looked up Ethiopian Honey wine and it is synonymous with honey mead l-]

Yum I like wine! My step dad is actually starting to make wine corks too. Funny thing is just the other day he had me over to take some photos of samples he made so I can show them to those interested. He makes them out of this strange wood that has holes in it, and they turned out beautiful!

What type of wine corks are they?

He makes them out of Australian Pinecones, and other exotic woods. He is a manager of a woodworking shop so he is able to get his hands on the scraps easily. They almost look like a honeycomb, or something else with weird pockets in them. Once they are sanded down into knobs or shapes for the wine corks, they look kind of alien in design.

He just makes the cap or handles to them, the wine stoppers he orders in stainless steel dropper and then he just creates the tops to them only.
