Savannah cats and their tails!!!!

I know this might be an odd question but my 2 F3C cats well I have stepped/walked on their tails several times by accident but they don’t meow or run its like they don’t feel it. I am the one that’s jumps when I step on the tail by mistake lol. Is this common behaviour? I am just curious my two boys don’t mind their tails be touched were as most DSH react totally different!

That's very odd - I've never known a cat that doesn't react when his tail is stepped on!

Loki never has his tail on the ground, it's always whipping so I luckily have not stepped on it. Dante definitely knows when his tail is in jeopardy.

Maybe you realize when you step on it and avoid putting weight down? If they trust you, they know you won't put all your weight down so there is no reaction?

Thanks or the replies, I have definitely stepped on it but maybe like you said I noticed and pulled my weight back. These cats just aren’t afraid same with thunder and lightning. My DSH used to run and cower to the basement when it thunders and downpours these savannahs just want to play don’t even notice and it does not bother them very strange lol
