Yes we did quarntine him. We just get discouraged by seeing the pictures of snuggling and holding haha. I did know the behaviors or Savannahs before I purchased him. We will just have to be patient until he comes around for love. One thing I do know is he loves to play and he does open up a lot when he is playing! He does not care much for treats. If anyone has advice on a Savannah favorite, please let me know. Thank you all for your advice!

As he ages he will become more patient with his "servants". If he is never a lap cat, he will be some other fabulous cat. I have a female who is.. "No dad. NOT the lap!!!" But she will wash my legs and hands and arms constantly. And she is a big flirt, and will let me gently storke her tummy. And likes to sleep cuddled up next to my legs.

There you have it. Play, play, and more play will make kitty happy and confident in you. You may not get to hold him but you will be amazed as he follows you everywhere and is always involved in the family. This is one of the most amazing aspects of the savannah behavior. They get involved.

I give mine the freeze dried chicken...he loves them so much too!
