Sleep habits of a Savannah?

I have a 4 month old kitten that I believe is a Savannah mix to some degree based on some physical and personality traits but one thing I can't find any info on for Savannahs is how many hours a day on average do they sleep compared to a regular domestic cat? Is it the same or significantly less? One thing I've noticed with my kitten is that she sleeps WAY less than a regular domestic kitten typically sleeps (16-20 hours a day)...I'm pretty sure mine sleeps less than 10 a day.

The sleep patterns of SVs aren't any different than other cats perhaps with the exception of higher percentage SVs (those with theoretically more of the serval genes). Your baby will sleep more as she's matures and likely by her 2nd or 3rd year, she'll be sleeping a majority of the day. I have 4 SVs, none of whom slept much their entire 1st year. The older ones now sleep a majority of the day. My F1 will be three yrs old in February and he doesn't sleep for a significant portion of the day -- usually takes short naps of not a very deep sleep. The only time he sleeps deeply is between 10 p.m and 5 a.m.

My 10 month old is on pretty much my schedule. She sleeps the whole night though. She will take a couple short naps during the day. She gets three good workouts everyday , the last at 9:30 to 10:30, then some Darwins raw. Then ready for all night cuddles.

My kittens - both Savannahs and Highlanders sleep much less when younger but start to enjoy those long naps more as they mature...

4 months is still pretty young.... Shango was awake most of the day always wanting to play when he was that little. He'd finally go to sleep around 12-1am, but was then up & ready to play again by 6am. Sometimes he'd play on his own until 7-8am, but after that he'd start pouncing letting me know he was ready for me to play with him. He tends to sleep more when he's going through a growth spurt, but has finally started napping more throughout the day the older he gets.
