Styrofoam in eye

F2bguy

Savannah Super Cat
I bought a new printer and set it up in my home office. Went to go take a shower.

Both cats jumped into the empty printer box and started to shred the styrofoam that the printer was packed in.

The F2B has a small piece of styrofoam stuck in the bottom left hand corner of his right eye.

I tried blowing gently into it....that didn't work.

Is this something you think will clear up naturally as his eyes tear or or?

I think I would try to remove it, do you have anyone to help you hold your cat while you try?

Did they also ingest any of that styrofoam?

I agree with Brigitte, I would try to remove it if possible. I would also be worried about the cats ingesting the styrofoam as it is not digestable and (worst case scenario) can cause a bowel obstruction.
