TICA Paper?

My only observation, is that with most breeders, it is common practice not to submit "papers" till proof of alteration and mandatory inoculations have been verified!!!

With my kids, TICA papers was the least of my concerns. Getting them all the proper care and treatment is all I really care about. Frak, simply by looking at my kids I know they are SAVANNAHS and MAGNIFICENT SAVANNAS!!! at that. :)

Yes, it is not uncommon for papers to be held for proof of altering, but this is because that is required by the contract that was signed. Hence your contract gives you the guarantee that having fulfilled that term the papers will be forthcoming.

I agree, you may well know looking at your cats that they are Savannahs. But I can think of reasons why you still might want to make sure you have those papers...
Your state, county or city changes the rules and bans certain generations. You might need to prove what generation your cat is.
You are reported to your AC for having an exotic cat and need to prove otherwise.
Life throws a curveball and you need to rehome your cats. Having their papers makes it much simpler.
You've paid good money for your cats, you should have the piece of paper!

Thanks everyone, regardless of the papers I still love my fur baby. Hopefully the lack of papers doesn't become a problem in the future or I'll be heartbroken.
