Very fearful cat!

You already know the problem, so you are way ahead of many others. You know that your new cat is terrified of you because he was abused in his previous home. You probably also realize that the effects of abuse do not disappear overnight so you have a long road ahead of you.

Give your new cat time to settle in, and move slowly in your steps to make friends and then introduce your cats to him. There's a lot of information in the links already provided...good luck!

Thank you. He loves treats and will eat them out of my hand at times. My cats are fearful of him. They are 5 lb. hairless Peterbalds. Half sisters 5 and 7 years old. Every so often Rose the bold one, will venture in Paka's room. She hisses at him he looks bewildered at her. It is slow. He seems so sweet.

He eats and tears up feathers.
This is very dangerous - a feather can easily lead to a bowel perforation or bowel obstruction, then you will have a several thousand dollar vet/surgical bill on your hands...
